DRP 3 is a nutrient-rich juvenile fish diet pellet (1.3 mm) that caters to medium-sized tropical and marine fish (approximately 6–12 cm long). It features a firm, rigid pellet that holds together in water, yet softens quickly for easy consumption. Compared to DRP 1 and 2, DRP 3 has slightly lower protein (48 %) but retains high-quality ingredients (krill meal, fish meal, squid meal, etc.) to stimulate steady growth. The formula includes added astaxanthin and wheat germ to further enhance colouration and vitality in growing fish.
Feeding Application:
DRP 3 is ideal for mid-water feeding. Sprinkle a portion on the surface; pellets initially float briefly and then sink as fish feed. Species like discus, angelfish, and other cichlids readily accept these pellets. The pellet’s softening property ensures even large-fingered fish (20–30 % mouth width) can break it down. In practice, feed DRP 3 the way you would other high-protein pellets: fish can pick particles from the water column as they sink. This makes DRP 3 a suitable feed for a wide variety of juvenile and small adult freshwater or marine species.
